Knurling is the technical name for the cross pattern rolled or cut into onto the surface of the grip. They come in various diameters 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 25mm, and 32mm. These knurled grips are made by turning off the top edge of the raised knurl pattern, this gives a better feel without losing the advantage of a knurled grip.
