Richie Mingins collection

Richie Mingins collection

Hanky Panky got the Richie Mingins collection on the 15th of April 1999 – the author was at Hanky’s tattooing museum in Amsterdam, Holland – when Hanky told him that he had been called by a woman from England who said she was Mingin’s daughter – and that her family wanted to sell her Fathers tattooing collection and was he interested in buying it from them – Ron Ackers was also present when Hanky asked (the author and Ron) if it would be worth looking into - as he didn’t know to much about Richie Mingins – and of course both Ron and myself assured him that he had to follow it up – considering that the Mingins family were one of England’s finest in regards to tattooing – Luckily Hanky took the advice and secured albums full of photographs – and one book with over three thousand designs – as well as a number of very rare tattooing artefacts – Hanky paid £500 pounds for the collection
